Nin Quotes

I, with a deeper instinct, choose a man who compels my strength, who makes enormous demands on me, who does not doubt my courage or my toughness, who does not believe me naĂŻve or innocent, who has the courage to treat me like a woman.

Who is that that brings you down?

A girl as elegant as she
Are the voices in your head
For more than words from he?

Can you write a screenplay?
Words for more than that you would say.

I dare you to the challenge.
Girl standing in the light.

Maybe…you’ll fall in love with me all over again.”

“Hell,” I said, “I love you enough now. What do you want to

do? Ruin me?”

“Yes. I want to ruin you.”

“Good,” I said. “That’s what I want too."

Love

I had a disturbing conversation with my beloved sister and my degenerate friend recently.  Neither of them believe in love.  They accused me of having a "Disney Channel" idea of love (harsh) and said that the emotion does not really exist.

The conversation left me heart broken.  Over drinks, they argued that my idea of two people being married and having kids was overrated love.  First of all, marriage was not my idea or my argument.  Secondly, their main point consisted of comparing the modern day idea of marriage with the ancient emotion of love.  The two don't even equate.

I can live in my world and deal with the relationships that I have with people that are atheists, democrats, republicans, vegans, furries....BUT I refuse to live in a world and accept the fact that the people that I surround myself with don't believe in an age old emotion.  How can they so vehemently believe in hate, but deny themselves of love?

I feel so sad for them.

For the well being of my Soul

her eyes

Proverbs

She looks well to the ways of her household
and does not eat the bread of idleness.
Her children rise up and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:
“Many women have done excellently,
but you surpass them all.

Proverbs 31:27-29
